"We had an amazing stay at The Hibernation Station while visiting Yellowstone! The location is perfect- super close to both the park entrance and town. The cabins were spacious, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could need during your visit. What really stood out, though, was the incredible staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. A special shout out to Amanda and the lovely lady who works in the office at night (so sorry I didn’t catch your name!). You both made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend The Hibernation Station and we can’t wait to come back!"

"My fiance and I stayed at this location while visiting Yellowstone as part of a 10-day national park trip. The location was great - very close and accessible to downtown either in a very quick drive or a reasonable walk. We went in September so it was still warm and the A/C unit within the room worked great. The rooms were very clean. There were 4 of us and our unit had 2 queen beds. The unit also came with a full cooktop/oven and cooking supplies which was great to do some basic home cooking to prep for our days in the park or if we didn't feel like eating out when we got back. The property has a great view of the sunset. My friend and I enjoyed it sitting by the fire pit in front of the waterfall. The property also has a hot tub for members and a game room. The games were nice and well kept and the front desk offers free coffee, tea and hot cocoa during their office hours. The front desk also offers free ice buckets when using the room container but any larger amount to fill, say, coolers, requires a purchase of bagged ice. All around a great experience and my colleagues enjoyed the stay. Would absolutely consider for a future trip to Yellowstone."

"Off season review from snowy winter time! We are currently staying at Hibernation Station Cabins in West Yellowstone (5th of January; off season). The entire scenery was simply magical: snow-covered grounds, warm and cozy lighting and icicles created a beautiful winter atmosphere. We received an exceptionally warm and heartfelt welcome. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely cared for. All cabins have their own parking lot next to the cabin. The entrance to our log cabin had been cleared of snow, and when we stepped inside, we were greeted by pleasant warmth. We were assigned a cabin with a fireplace which immediately made us feel welcome as the authentic log cabin charm took effect right away. The room felt incredibly cozy and inviting. The carpet is very thick and extremely comfortable to walk on. The amenities are more than sufficient for us: a microwave, coffee machine, and refrigerator. Coffee and tea are also available at the reception. The two rocking chairs in the room add to the cozy, rustic feeling and are perfect for relaxing by the fireplace. If you are aware that these cabins date back to the early 1990s and you are not expecting a high-end luxury resort, this place offers a wonderfully cozy, romantic and authentic stay. Yes, there may be small signs of age — but that is exactly part of the charm. If you choose historic log cabins, you choose character, not modern perfection. For this reason, I honestly cannot understand many of the negative reviews. We also cannot confirm complaints about unfriendly staff—on the contrary, the receptionist we met was extremely friendly, warm, approachable, and happy to chat, making us feel truly welcome. The hot tub is open 24 hours and after a very exhausting off trail day long snowmobile tour it felt like heaven to hop in it at 21pm while snow was falling. In the snowy off-season, I honestly would not want to stay anywhere else. Hibernation offers a uniquely cozy, romantic, and authentic Yellowstone winter experience that we are thoroughly enjoying."
