"I really enjoyed my stay at The Raphael Hotel. The customer service was exceptional and made the experience feel special from the start. I was upgraded to a suite per my Titanium status. Shortly after, someone came around to deliver a bottle of wine and snacks, and later that night someone stopped by to deliver small chocolates. The restaurant and bar on site had live jazz music, and it was really good. The hotel was cute and regal, with a welcoming feel. I really enjoyed my stay."

It was a very roomy suite with separate bedroom, living room area with a dining area that included a full dining table & chairs. The room included a mini fridge and coffee machine with coffee/tea. They alao had a bottle of wine and chocolates but, we didn't partake of them. The room also included very comfy robes, which were needed as the only downside of the room were the draft windows. We just happened to go when it was very windy & cold. But, it was otherwise, a lovely room. We stopped for a cocktail at the hotel restaurant called Chaz, located on the lower level of the hotel. We chatted with their bartender, Richard who remembered us from when we visited 4 years ago! He is the wizard who curates and crafts perfectly made cocktails in lightning speed. If you're even not staying @ the hotel but looking for a cozy, warm spot with great drinks - we highly recommend visiting Chaz. We had reservations our second night at a restaurant in downtown but, after we went out in the cold we realized we would rather eat in. We opted for room service from Chaz. This was one of the very few times that we've experienced food at the quality you get when dining in the restaurant itself. Typically, we get mediocre / not so hot food when we order room svc but, this time, it was as good as you'd get if you were in the dining room! The hot food was hot & very tasty! We opted for the farm fresh bread, roasted carrots, wedge salad and lobster bucatini and finished with the Brie creme brulee topped with fresh strawberries. All the staff, from reception to dining and cleaning were very friendly & attentive. It is our fave spot to stay while on the Plaza and now - in the warmer months - you're just a few blocks from hopping on the Streetcar and access to the Plaza, Crown Center, Union Station, Power & Light and River Market!"

This time we were celebrating my retirement and they really went above and beyond. Upon arrival we discovered that we’d accidentally made our reservation online at the wrong hotel!! India at the front desk found us a room and even called the other hotel and got our room cancelled without penalty!! Then when we got to our room we discovered she had upgraded us to a suite and even had a bottle of champagne waiting in our room for us after we went out shopping. She really made our stay so nice! Definitely recommend this hotel!!"
