"Stayed for a night and was very pleased. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have seen. The staff were all very kind including front desk, housekeeping and the breakfast crew. Breakfast was very good also."

"The place is nice and some of the staff are friendly. Initially, I was going to rate this hotel a 2.5 due to the overall experience being what you'd expect—nothing extraordinary. However, one individual completely changed my perspective. The first staff member we encountered on the afternoon shift of July 9th really needs a lesson in hospitality. Their approach, attitude, and problem-solving were all a hard “no.” She was constantly on the phone—which is understandable in today’s world—but when a customer approaches, you don’t make them feel like an interruption or a nuisance. Hospitality starts with presence, not just process. Her mindset seemed to be “I don’t know” followed by going back to her phone. Instead, it should be, “How can I help?” even if she’s already finished her tasks. I’ve always believed that if I’m part of something—whether the problem is mine or not—I give it my 200%: ✅ 100% logically ✅ 100% emotionally Now, let me flip the script and give credit where it’s due. Colin (apologies if I misspelled it), who was working the July 10th early morning shift or possibly midnight of July 9th, was absolutely amazing. He was respectful, made eye contact, was consistently busy yet attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. It was my first time crossing the border, and naturally, I was already judging and analyzing everything. The last thing I wanted was a poor first impression—and Colin ensured that didn’t happen. He represented the hotel with class and care. 5 stars just for Colin. He’s the reason I upgraded my rating."
