"We were welcomed with a warm smile at the door. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean with a large bathtub.The breakfast prepared by Ruth was so enjoyable with hot and homemade choices. We enjoyed an easy walk to several excellent restaurant choices for a delicious dinner. We also enjoyed the historic Heritage Hill neighborhood where the B&B is located. There is a map in your room listing over 30 homes highlighting their historic architectural features. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!"

View on Google"What a wonderful place to stay! Great location in the historic district - we enjoyed walking around and marveling at the houses, and very convenient to downtown Grand Rapids. Gracious and welcoming hosts, who made a delicious breakfast and had a comprehensive and complimentary beverage and snack bar. The Sir Charles room had period charm, but was outfitted with any amenity you could think of. We look forward to coming back to visit more of the interesting sights around Grand Rapids and this is a terrific home base. Also, we appreciated the prompt and detailed communication prior to our arrival - such a personal touch!"

View on Google"Wonderful location in the Heritage Hills historic district, next to and across the street from 2 Frank Lloyd Wright -designed houses. The Leonard was immaculate and beautiful; our room, the Grand Duke, was spacious and had many original features (built-in cabinets!). The breakfast spread was luscious- something for everyone. Deserts set out were plentiful, and the beverage bar is a generous offering. Ruth and Ken are gracious and attentive. We have gone to a different BNB for each of our 41 anniversaries, and this was one of the best!!!"
