What guests are saying about George Brooks House B&B:
"The George Brooks Inn is a Gem! We booked the entire inn for my wedding weekend in St. Michael’s. We had our family and wedding party stay with us at the inn and it was a spectacular time! Each room was spacious enough for our guests and had a full bathroom. The outdoor pool and gardens were a perfect gathering location! The inn is charming and the outdoor grounds were beautiful. Will, the owner was helpful and courteous making sure we had everything we needed throughout the weekend. Overall the George Brooks Inn provided us a great location to celebrate our wedding weekend!"

View on Google"We recently needed to find a place to sleep on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay near the town of St. Michaels, MD. There were many options, but we chose the George Brooks House B&B. It was slightly off the beaten path, meaning that any tourist noise would be a minimum. It was also convenient to our destination. The decor was charming. The owner had spent a lot of time and care picking out the furniture and it all fit perfectly together. Our room in this old house was very clean and comfortable and the bed mattress was just perfect. There was plenty of parking and a choice of two different charging stations for our EV. We needed an early breakfast on our first morning as our event began before the announced mealtime. Will, the owner, obliged us with a very delicious meal and we were then on our way. We were not in a rush the second morning and we chatted with him about various things before getting on the road. What a great host. We would definitely come again…for the beautiful accommodations, the delicious breakfasts, and especially Will’s delightful company."

View on Google"We had a pleasant stay at the George Brooks House. Will received us and gave us a good introduction to the property as well as dinner recommendations in town, but that was the only interaction we had with the owners. The property was quiet and restful; just outside of St. Michael's and off the busy main highway (and easy to miss because there is no obvious signage). Our room was spacious, clean, amd well-lit. The grounds were attractive. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks were available all of the time, as was a community refrigerator (none in rooms). Breakfast included a tasteful selection of muffins, a cup of mixed fresh fruit, a piece of French toast casserole, and bacon. Our criticisms were not major, but with some details that fail to compare well with other comparably priced B&Bs from our experience. Our room had instructions to refrain from changing the temperature control. Fortunately it was cool enough to open windows and not require a/c. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work, so we had to charge cell phones in the bathroom. Some of the window blinds were broken and difficult to adjust. We noticed a few other cosmetic things that could be improved, such as touching up drywall and paint, but nothing that was unsafe or unsanitary."
