What guests are saying about Hampton Inn & Suites Edgewood/Aberdeen:
"This is a nice hotel for a great price, and I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is located conveniently off the highway and is easy to get to, but it isn't so close to the highway that you're hearing constant traffic. There is plenty of self-parking available at no extra cost right on the premises, and you do not need to register your vehicle when checking in, which is an added convenience. The hotel is located in a business park area full of lots of different hotels, and there are several restaurants nearby. The only restaurant that is really within walking distance from the hotel is Island Spice Grill & Lounge, which is about a 6 minute walk from the hotel. Otherwise, you will likely need to drive wherever you're going to avoid walking across busy roads. The front desk staff members were friendly, welcoming, and helpful for the most part. I was given two complimentary water bottles upon checking in, and I was graciously given an extra room key when I accidentally locked myself out of my room. The room was huge and had two queen beds, a large desk and desk chair for working, a microwave, a mini fridge, a couch and coffee table, a kitchen countertop area with a sink (separate from the bathroom sink), a coffee maker, a TV, etc. The TV was placed in a bit of a strange spot, making it rather difficult to comfortably watch from the beds or the couch, based on the setup of the room. Not a huge deal, but just something to note. This hotel is great for long-term stays, particularly if you're traveling for work and plan to get some work done from your room. Housekeeping serviced our room each day during our visit without us having to ask, which was great. The only issue we encountered was that our bathroom sink seemed to be leaking, and all of the personal items that we had placed on the shelf underneath the sink were completely soaked when we returned to our room on the first evening of our stay. We spoke with the front desk staff member about this, and he sent a maintenance team member to our room to investigate the issue, but the issue remained unresolved. We were provided with more towels to soak up the water, but that was about it. After that, we simply stopped placing our items underneath the bathroom sink, as the leak persisted. The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent, in my opinion. My husband had some complaints about the hot foods (not the highest quality of eggs and breakfast meats), but he tends to be a tougher critic than I am when it comes to hotel breakfast buffets. I personally do not expect a 5-star meal from a complimentary continental breakfast. Each day there was a rotating selection of hot foods to include some type of egg (cheese omelets or scrambled eggs), sausage patties or bacon, and homestyle potatoes of some sort. There is also a waffle maker available every day, along with fruit, yogurts, oatmeal with toppings (raisins, slivered almonds, and brown sugar cinnamon), various small boxes of cereal, pastries, bread, bagels, hard boiled eggs, juice, milk, coffee, and condiments like butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter. I do wish there was granola offered, as that would have been great to mix into my yogurt or oatmeal. Breakfast staff was attentive and ensured that all items were promptly replenished if anything ran out. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying here again."

View on Google"The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with neutral odor, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The coffee was hot and always refreshed, but the overall breakfast selection was minimal. The protein selections were labeled as scrambled eggs (more white than yellow and somehow cubed), ham, and bagel topped with cheese and sausage. The eggs were inedible, the ham was ham, and the topped bagel was relatively tasteless. There was oatmeal, but the toppings we only cinnamon & sugar, raisins, or almonds (granola would have been nice). The muffins and pastry pocket selection was the highlight (which of course the kids enjoyed). There was boxed cereal, containers of yogurt, orange and apple juices, and make your own waffles. Anyone looking for something other than a sweet snack to start their day would disappointed (and hungry). The breakfast staff was very attentive, and all options were always available."
