My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Historic Michabelle Inn during a Dash Gordon Foundation business trip, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. We were in town for a Special Needs and Disabilities event, and the inn provided the perfect setting for both work and relaxation. We stayed in the Scheherazade suite, which was absolutely stunning—romantic, beautifully appointed, and full of charm. It offered the perfect retreat after our busy days, with every detail designed for comfort and elegance. The owners were phenomenal—so warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay exceptional. They catered to our every need and made us feel completely at home. And let’s talk about the breakfast—it was truly amazing! Each morning we were treated to a delicious, thoughtfully prepared meal that gave us the perfect start to our day. "Really comfy historic property. We slept very well here. Rooms are spacious. We stayed in the Orleans suite but also were shown the rooms in the main house. They are large and well furnished. Breakfast was hot and fresh and more than you’d get at any hotel. Very safe area, I walked through the neighborhood several days. Its our second time here and repeat business is really the best endorsement!!"
