Guests really like this place, ranking it #6 out of 21 hotels in the area with a solid 3.9 rating on TripAdvisor. The in-room Jacuzzi is definitely a highlight for travelers who want private relaxation without going to a shared pool or spa area. You can soak away muscle aches and enjoy some quiet time right in your own room.
The hotel throws in some nice extras like free parking, free WiFi, and a complimentary breakfast. The fitness center and pool are good bonuses if you want more activity. What guests are saying about Comfort Inn Hammond:
"Steve was incredible, warm and welcoming the moment I walked in. The room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was unbelievably soft. I was a little skeptical after seeing some of the negative reviews, but my experience was completely different. I’d 100% come back."

View on Google"We just stayed 1 night while traveling through. We chose this hotel due to the location, price and possibility of a pool. One web site did not state there was a pool, another site said there was one. It turned out to be an outdoor pool that was in an enclosure. You exited a hotel door into the enclosure, so did not actually go outside. The water was very cold, but enjoyed it for a short time. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel seemed very empty and quiet, that made us sad. While you do hear the train going by, it stops at 10 pm ish and not again until 6am ish. It is an older hotel and needs updating and painting. Everything was clean, comfortable and adequate. There were so many areas of chipped paint in doorways. It would seem an easy cosmetic upgrade to just touch up this paint. There does seem to be some type of coating on the floors (entry way and bathroom) that makes the slippery. The microwave cord did not reach an outlet. The room we had also had a jacuzzi, but didn't use. It is a nice added feature to the suites. We wonder how/when upgrades and remodeling might take place here."
