"You will not find a nicer motel room than at The Shades. My experience: I had the king size suite with jacuzzi. Immaculate! Shower shined, sheets spotless, jacuzzi super large with powerful jets…tv great and large refrigerator and microwave. also super clean. Whoever their housekeeper is must be some one with cleaning powers. You don’t get this nice of a roomwith some 5 star hotels. Also, the people who run the motel are extremely friendly. Next time we are in Baton Rouge, we will book at The Shades."

"My husband I have stayed here more than a few times and frankly this motel is the most decent and cleaner than most of these motels here. The customer service is nice and very prompt. Theses people are truly nice and considerate of their guests concerns and needs. Thank you!"
