"Hospitality 12 out of 10. I cannot begin to praise them enough! We were just looking for a place to warm up and have afternoon coffee, and they treated us like royalty! Gave us the best table and made a pot of coffee just for us. The desserts here are magnificent! Plus the history of the place is the cherry on top. Definitely planning to come back:) God bless!"

View on Google"I was finally able to make the trip to see this gem. I drove 2 hours to visit and it did not disappoint. The hostess was absolutely adorable and friendly. She, along with other staff provided me with details/history of the Talbott Tavern as well as the town. Jonathan was my server. He was very pleasant and helpful. Dani was my bartender. She too, was so pleasant. The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic! I look forward to coming back."

From the moment I sat down, he was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. His knowledge of the menu and drink recommendations were spot-on. I ordered the Spiced Old Fashioned and the Hot Brown, and both were nothing short of fantastic. The cocktail was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice, and the Hot Brown was rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Johnathan checked in at just the right moments to make sure everything was perfect, and his friendly personality really elevated the whole dining experience. If you’re visiting Bardstown or The Old Talbott Tavern, do yourself a favor and ask for Johnathan. Outstanding service, delicious food, and an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend."
