"I’ve stayed here a few times for work and just passing through. The recent renovation looks great but seems they haven’t quite got to the showers yet. They’re a little haggard. I booked through a third party travel site because that rate was $60 less a night than via the hotel brand’s own site. Their rate includes a $16 recovery fee — whatever that means, I am not paying it. I paid through the travel site but the hotel then also charged me. I called the hotel late and was told it was my problem so I called back in the morning and the hotel quickly refunded their charge. Breakfast was satisfactory. Eggs were just right. Overall, I would stay here again."

View on Google"Stayed here this last weekend November 14-16th to go to Parrot Cover Water Park for my kids birthday. First of all the pool is CLOSED which kind of sucked since we thought we would swim in the motel pool on our first day there. The room was fine (212) but there was some water damage near the HVAC unit and a big gouge in the drywall near it. Other than that the location is great, breakfast was really good and the motel overall was very clean. If you are staying here for vacation, definitely hit up the Lee Richardson Zoo. It is free to walk in, or for $10 dollars you can drive though and park in various spots which will save you some walking. Lastly, make sure to eat at Walk-On Sports Bistreaux a couple blocks away, was very impressed with our food and service there! Overall I would give the motel 5 stars if the pool was open, wish they would credit you for your hotel fee or something."
