"I recently stayed at the Hotel Blackhawk on two separate occasions and had several reservations for family members for my grandfather’s funeral. I have been an Ambassador Member since the tier was established in 2016 and travel all over the world for business. Over nearly two decades of travel with Marriott I can confidently say that the best hotel experience I have had at any hotel was not in London, or Paris or Abu Dahbi but right here in the Heartland in Davenport, Iowa and it comes down to the people. Stephen and his team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable in spite of the unfortunate circumstances of our visit. I could not have asked for or attempted to curate a stay as enjoyable as the one the lovely staff at the Hotel Blackhawk delivered. Thank you all for extending grace and kindness to my family and providing us a home for the weekend. I look forward to my next visit, hopefully under better circumstances."
