"We stayed at the cave and it has a lot of space, almost like an apartment, with a fireplace in the living room, big bathroom with a jacuzzi. It's beautiful, private, and super clean. The bed was really comfortable. It's amazing how it was built underground and you actually walk through the roof before going down to the entrance."

"This place was cozy and very charming. We stayed in the cave room on the back of the property. This morning we had an incredible breakfast in the main house prepared by our host. The room has a gas fireplace, microwave, and mini refrigerator. Best of all, it's just minutes from all the fun stuff Alton has to offer."

What's the difference between a jacuzzi, whirlpool, and soaking tub?

Jacuzzi

Technically a brand name, but used generically for any jetted tub. In hotel listings, "jacuzzi suite" almost always means a private in-room tub with built-in air or water jets. Heat is usually preset; jets are user-controlled.

Whirlpool

Functionally identical to a jacuzzi — water jets circulate heated water for a massage effect. The term is more common at Marriott, Hilton, and Wyndham brands. Most "whirlpool suites" hold two adults comfortably.

Soaking tub

Deeper than a standard bathtub, usually 18–22 inches, but with no jets. Common in boutique and luxury hotels — quieter, more spa-like, and better for a long hot soak than the jet-driven hum of a jacuzzi.

Hot tub

In strict use, a standalone heated tub holding 100°F+ water. In hotel marketing, often used interchangeably with jacuzzi or whirlpool. A genuine in-room "hot tub" with full thermostat control is rare outside cabin-style resorts.
