"Well, I was going to go on and on in a long review, but it's five stars. It's the best resort we've ever stayed at in Hawaii and I would come back here in a heartbeat. We loved everything. Thanks! Mahalo so much for a great vacation Free guest laundry, friendly valets and the best beach in Hawaii. It's amazing"

View on Google"The Westin Hapuna Beach is a phenomenal Hawaiian hotel - big without being too big, great beachfront location but close enough to other things, and immaculate grounds and staff. The rooms are a standard Westin room - but with a view unlike any other. While not a “modern” hotel, it has everything you need. The pools were clean and the perfect temperature, the gym was excellent, and while we didn’t get to use the spa, that area is clearly a recent upgrade with spacious locker rooms and a great deck that provides quiet and shade in the afternoon (and good views of passing whales)! Staff was without fail exceptional - from check in, to concierge (shout out Amy), restaurant staff (particularly at Ikena landing), housekeeping, pool attendants, and bellhops - we were taken care of and treated with a kindness that felt genuine. I suspect they take good care of their people, and that the GM is a Simon Sinek devotee. Highlights include walking the trail between here and Mauna Kea, as well as a very hot 2 mile trip south to more secluded beaches. While we are a couple of young professionals, it seemed that every guest was enjoying their stay - from retirees, to families with little ones, honeymooners, and even business travelers. Booked via Delta Vacations, which gave us a great rate. Mahalo to the staff!"

View on Google"This is our second time staying at the Westin Hapuna beach and we'd highly recommend it to anyone coming to the big island. We didn't consider anywhere else as we planned our return. I love the hotel property - the rooms, the pools, the lobby, the beach. All phenomenal. I can't speak for those traveling with children, but for adults, love the adults only infinity pool and hot tub. You definitely need a car, but I'd recommend that regardless of where on island you're staying. The service and team at the Hapuna hotel is great. Always a pleasure to interact with anyone on the team whether that's hospitality, the restaurants, or valet. You truly make this a great place to visit - thank you! There is also an awesome laundry facility on site. As a traveller who frequently hikes or goes in nature, the ability to quickly wash clothes easily makes a huge difference (Floor 6). While we didn't use it - the workout facility looks to be very well put together. The only downside is that there is certainly a more limited choice of where to eat around the property than if you're downtown Kailua-Kona, but as long as you plan a bit, it's easy to overcome. All in all - an awesome hotel and a great place to stay! Highly recommend."
