"Visited the hotel with my mom at Christmas time, loved the decorations inside and outside! We didn’t stay here but would love to sometime! Very charming atmosphere. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant and were able to sit outside with lovely sunset views. We had a salad with delicious champagne vinaigrette and teriyaki wings - so good! Can’t wait to come back!"

Stairs are nice and wide, carpeted, and definitely part of the experience in staying in an old, historic hotel. So if the elevator isn't out for your stay, definitely is the stairs at least one. All was beautifully decorated for Christmas, too. Lots of history memorabilia on the fourth floor and on a Friday night we happened upon several small group tours expounding on ( exploiting) the stories of ghosts and oddities reported through the years. Certainly a period experience. Rooftop amenities offered fabulous views but limited menu for two dining in. The pizzas looked delish but were HUGE. We stepped across from the dinning room and grabbed pizza by the slice at the outdoor bar ( all decorated for Christmas and super cute). The room was nicely furnished with wonderful linens and coffee pot and mini fridge."

We did the basic Ghost tour and it was okay. Also Elevator has been out for 4 months so if that’s important to you I’d ask them about that before booking. The hotel cats are awesome. The breakfast was good. The pizza place at the top was good. Cool view of everything too. It was awesome that the hotel was cat pet friendly too so we brought our cat, he loved it."
