What Guests Are Saying
“We stayed one night on a road trip and loved it. The room was clean and comfy, but Side-by-Side — the hotel’s downstairs restaurant — stole the show — clearly short-staffed, yet the trio on duty were pure magic. Sarah was literally a badass behind the bar, Danielle hustled with a nonstop smile, and Taurus — who, by the way, is a Gemini 🙂 — brought an infectious, sunny energy. Some patrons were rude about the wait, but the staff handled it with calm and grace. Five stars for the team — they deserve raises. The food was amazing by the way!” — Kimberlie E., 5 stars
“Love the vibes and location. The staff is top tier, extremely pleasant, & helpful! Madylen Thomas made my experience over the top with her outstanding hospitality! I travel to Tuscaloosa about three times a year and only want to stay here! I had a special circumstance and Katherine Bryant treated me with dignity and respect! Thank you for a wonderful experience!” — Candyce C., 5 stars
“We stayed one night at the Embassy Suites in Tuscaloosa on Easter Sunday and had a very enjoyable experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the downtown location — it’s within walking distance to several great restaurants, bars, and local spots, which made it easy to explore without needing to drive everywhere. For dinner, we walked to Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint, which had an enormous beer selection and a great outdoor seating area. It was the perfect relaxed Tuscaloosa evening atmosphere. The hotel itself was very comfortable, especially for families or anyone wanting more than a standard hotel room. The suites offered plenty of living space separate from the bedroom, which made the stay feel much less cramped and more functional than a typical one-night stop. Another major plus was the complimentary buffet breakfast the next morning. There were plenty of options, it was convenient, and it made getting back on the road easy without having to find another breakfast spot downtown. Overall, this Embassy Suites is a great option if you want a comfortable downtown Tuscaloosa stay with walkability, spacious rooms, and solid amenities.” — NYHokie, 4 stars

View on Google"Our family stayed here while visiting the University of Alabama. The location was very convenient, close to many bars, restaurants, and stores. The evening social (included) was fantastic! Several local beers were even offered as choices. The bartender was also great and really seemed to love her job! Our room was lovely, with comfortable/quiet beds and a nice layout. Breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I can remember having. The omelet station was tasty and so many other great options. I hope I have a chance to come and stay here again!"

Buffet was great. Food was perfectly seasoned. Thanks Mr Stephen, Mr Daniel, Mr Tony, Ms. Pat, and Ms Jamie for the amazing service and experience."
