What Guests Are Saying
“My wife had a wonderful time this past week during our 2-nite stay at the Bama Bed and Breakfast! Kim and her staff were VERY welcoming and the home + the grounds were just perfect and so relaxing! Kim’s homemade breakfast on both mornings was just outstanding! Thank you all for making our brief visit to Tuscaloosa so enjoyable! The Johnsons” — Jdengineer, 5 stars
“Quaint B & B in the heart of Tuscaloosa. A perfect spot to stay for a football weekend! The owners were so friendly, and the residence was all dressed up for Halloween and cute as could be. Breakfast was traditional southern fare with the most amazing cloud-like biscuits. I will definetly return.” — Ivangela, 5 stars
“My husband and I had never visited Tuscaloosa, our visit to the Bama Bed and Breakfast has us wanting to return and learn more about the city. We were driving from NE Georgia to Natchez, Mississippi and this was a great halfway point. Before we arrived, communication with Kim through texts was very helpful. When we arrived, we felt like we were visiting old friends. The home is beautiful, the bed was super comfortable, and Tuscaloosa was great! We had never used Uber, but were thrilled to be able to move into this century by using it. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night! We were going to drive the Natchez Trace Parkway and did B & Bs each night. This was one of the top 2 spots! We loved breakfast (amazing grits…tried cocoa gravy for the first time) and purchased some great jewelry by Amanda. We even purchased a set of sheets (soooo comfortable and soft)! We look forward to going back to visit soon!” — prissyteacher, 5 stars

"I had my wedding here in September of 2025, Kim, Michael, and their whole staff were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were with me every step of the way, always available to answer questions and offer thoughtful advice, especially when it came to wedding etiquette. Their experience and calm presence made the entire process feel so much easier. On the wedding day, they truly went above and beyond. I woke up with a migraine, and Kim immediately made sure I was taken care of. And made us an amazing breakfast!!! Michael made sure the whole day went smoothly. Superstars!!! Their bridal emergency kit also came in handy right before the ceremony when I got mud on the bottom of my dress. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and so well prepared, which made getting ready even more enjoyable. The bridesmaids loved all of their rooms. I can’t say enough kind things about Kim and Michael and am so grateful they were part of our wedding day."

View on Google"Beautiful place we had my granddaughters wedding at bed breakfast my family and I came from louisiana to stay here so that we could be together. We get there check Kim takes for tour of the dos and donts in your room. Tell you to look around then tells you your not allowed in kitchen and dining room .we have the rehearsal and then rehearsal supper sitting outside to enjoy our family then at 10 pm staff comes and say we have to go inside we couldn’t be outside after 10 that Kim was watching us on the cameras so we go inside there’s a game roomok we will go in there negative she shut that down you had to go to your room.Next day you have to be up for 830 for breakfast you have like a pug table to go around and get your food you have to follow her directions go to left and around table my husband didn’t go right way so she grabbed him by his arm to make him go right way.Day of wedding we all ready for wedding having a great time Kim sits on porch swing watching everything she made comment that the Louisiana people don’t listen we had security following us through out the party. Then here we go at 10 pm she starts blinking the lights to try to make us go inside then she turns all lights off and comes outside to tell us we had to go inside.tells my son if we want to continue to party he could go to strip.so she shut everything down in house and we had to go to bed. If you want a place that doesn’t like kids you can’t smoke or vape and like being treated like you are child and have to go to bed when she is ready this is your place hospitality is not at this place"
