What Guests Are Saying

“If you’re looking for a condo in Orange Beach, AL, then this is your place. Whether a family vacation or a couples retreat, this place has it all. The beach, pools, lazy river, putting green, you name it. But that’s not all. Each condo has a hot tub and a grill on the spacious balcony. Only drawback…it’s pricey.” — ElvisDawg, 5 stars

“We visit Orange Beach/Gulf Shores every year and try to stay at one of the more upscale condos because this is our one annual vacation. We stayed in C2505 and I have mostly good things to say about the condo itself. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The mattresses are a little hard, but I know that can be a personal preference. Two big deal breakers for us that may prevent us from going back next year: Everyday we paid a lot of money for beach chairs and umbrella and every day we were seated next to smokers on the beach. Chain smokers that caused us to go in early on 3 days. I complained to the front desk about smokers on a public beach, but it was never addressed. That is a deal breaker for us and it is the first time we were put in this situation on the beach. Second thing is that the policy for this condo is that they can - and do - come into your condo at any time to check the hot tub or spray for bugs. I walked in from the balcony one day to find someone standing in the kitchen with a bug sprayer. Every day someone comes to check the hot tub that is on the balcony even though I told them we would never use that hot tub. One morning a large piece of the roof of the balcony fell down and I reported it to maintenance. Three days later a crew of 3 men showed up at the door unexpectedly to “repair” the damage. They ended up pulling off more of the roof and leaving it there until they could repair the following week. It is just unsettling how often there are strange men in the condo… We love Orange Beach and will always go back but we do have reservations about visiting Turquoise Place again.” — Climber51381651242, 3 stars

“I give Turquoise Place 5 stars. Great amenities for families. It is a long walk to the beach and the beach is deep, so prepare to walk a lot. I give the room we stayed in (1507C) 2 stars. The owners for this property have given up and doesn’t care about those renting their property. The refrigerator was at 57 degrees, food safety was huge concern. This issue was listed in a previous review so the problem was ongoing and not addressed. Shame on the owners!! The built in microwave was broken and there was a crappy countertop microwave in its place. The jacuzzi in the master bath was not functional (see photo), there were no stoppers in three of the sinks (a problem for those of us that wear contact lenses), no pictures on the wall in the living room (see photo). The beds were beyond horrible. The master bed had a memory foam topper on top of a memory foam mattress, it was like sleeping in a hammock, very difficult to get out of or even turn over. The cookware and utensils were disgusting. All the amenities that are offered should be 100% functional. That’s a reasonable expectation for those of us that are paying a premium price for a room. Do not rent 1507C. The owners don’t deserve your money. I rented through Vacasa and I’m not happy with them. They were not able to fix our problems and only offered to move us to another property at a different location, and not on the beach. They did offer us a discount for our trouble, (which I appreciate) but it did not make up for these problems.” — Greg C., 2 stars

"Turquoise Place in Orange Beach is absolutely stunning. From the moment we arrived, everything felt upscale and well thought out. The condos are spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking views of the Gulf. Having a private hot tub and grill on the balcony was a huge bonus and made our stay feel extra special. The amenities are top-notch — indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, sauna, steam room, fitness center, and easy beach access. It never felt overcrowded, and the property was quiet and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. This was the perfect place for our relaxing family getaway. Turquoise Place truly feels like luxury at the beach, and we can’t wait to come back!"

"We’ve stayed at Turquoise Place four times in the last few years and it continues to be our go-to. The condos are huge and the balconies are unbeatable. Private hot tubs and grills overlooking the ocean is something we haven’t seen anywhere else in the country. Heated indoor pools and top-tier amenities including saunas, steam room, gym, putting green, restaurant, bar, and outdoor pool make this place hard to beat. Already looking forward to our next visit."

"This was by far the best time we have had on vacation in a while. Our stay here was everything and such a fun filled experience. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere overall made the stay even better. There was so much to do at the resort we almost didn't want to leave it to do anything else 🤣 even on rainy days we were able to still enjoy ourselves and stay occupied with the amenities they offer their guest. Which are all so much fun by the way and lots of options to choose from. Perfect for families and super kid friendly. Everything is so clean and the food was great. We had so much space in our room, and had everything we needed and more. It truly felt right at home, away from home. Great location, close to lots of stores and restaurants, plenty of parking, and direct access to the beach. Would highly recommend and will be looking forward to returning again on our next vacation. Thanks for such a memorable pleasant stay! ❤️"
