Embassy Suites by Hilton Montgomery Hotel
"3.4-rated downtown riverfront all-suite hotel with two-room atrium suites, pool, cooked-to-order breakfast, and evening reception."
About The Hotel
Embassy Suites by Hilton Montgomery occupies a downtown riverfront location near the convention center and civil-rights sites. The hotel offers spacious two-room atrium suites, a pool, and a free cooked-to-order breakfast with an omelette station. An evening reception provides additional dining value. Recent guests praise the grill cook and breakfast service, and note remarkable front-desk hospitality. However, the 3.4 rating with 1,595 reviews reflects consistent concerns: tubs are old and dirty, carpet needs replacement, refrigerators have malfunctioned, and ATMs have been reported broken during stays. Service and room quality feel inconsistent. Jetted-tub rooms are a specific room type; confirm at booking.
What Guests Are Saying
“The room was clean and well stocked. The staff were so friendly and the grill cook was awesome!! Great food!!” — Candle C., 5 stars
“Kraig at the front desk is amazing. The definition of hospitality. Michael the engineer had a very positive attitude and was quick and efficient. Rooms need to be updated. Tubs are old and dirty. Beds aren’t the best but kind of comfortable. Carpet needs to be replaced. Breakfast was very good. Love love love the omelette station and the guy was very quick. Overall a good stay. The waterfall was working so that was nostalgia for me.” — Jacenta T., 4 stars
“Nice facility and great buffet breakfast. But some lack of attention to detail. Refrigerator was set to defrost and had water from melted ice. Safe was not functional and we were told that none of them work. ATM was broken the entire 4 days of our stay.” — Bob52024, 3 stars

What guests are saying about Embassy Suites by Hilton Montgomery Hotel.
"I recently stayed at Embassy Suites Montgomery, and I wanted to take a moment to commend one of your front desk staff members, MRS. NETTA for her outstanding service. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, offering helpful information about the hotel amenities and local area. Her kindness and accommodating nature truly made a difference in my stay. It’s rare to come across someone who shows such genuine care for guests, and her positive attitude set the tone for the rest of my visit. She is a true asset to your team, and I hope her excellent service is recognized and appreciated. Room was decent! No complaints! Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

The front desk team was very friendly, kind and courteous, especially my blond hair guy that’s always smiling ( sorry I can't remember his name but you won't miss him. (Loved the hair). Special mention to Kei in housekeeping! Yay! He went above and beyond to find couple pillows. He made sure they were to my liking. My family and I will definitely revisit this location."

View on Google"My stay at Embassy Suites was good. Of course, I could list all the great things... room very comfortable. Housekeeping excellent, with skilled and friendly staff. Conference rooms and staff also excellent and instantly responsive to all requests. Banquet food plentiful and delicious, with options for anyone/everyone. It's why I choose Embassy Suites, and why my group chooses Embassy Suites for conferences, etc. However... I've stayed in Embassy Suites in several cities. It is my "go to" hotel. There are "universal" perks. So, on check-in, I asked about a form for the breakfast buffet and the evening happy hour drinks. I was told all I need to do is show my room key. So... happy hour comes. Naturally the line for drinks is long, with 3 conference groups there. I waited almost 30 minutes, to be told by the (quite rude) bartender that I have to have a form. I told him what I was told on check-in. He said, "You were told wrong." I said, "I've waited in this line a long time." He said, "Rules are rules. You have to have a form." So I went to wait in another line at the check-in desk to tell them I didn't get a form. (It would have been less annoying if I hadn't asked about it on check-in and told I didn't need one.) Thankfully, that bartender was off the next night, and the new one was quite friendly, fast, and got a healthy tip from me. Next night after that... old one back again. Still grumpy and unfriendly, but I did have my form. Restaurant food was delicious too, but quite overpriced, even for a hotel. Tiny chicken pot pie for $30 was almost humorous. And finally, charging a guest of the hotel for parking is almost an insult. We did get a parking discount, because we were with a group, but with no street parking option, we are victims of the parking monopoly. (Many Embassy Suites are in areas where there is ample parking (meters). Some of these have realized the inconvenience of guests having to go out every couple of hours, move the car, pay again, etc. for weekdays, but $8/day beats $20/day. Most meters are free on weekends, so no need for all the pay and moving. These usually offer free hotel parking to guests.) Anyway, thank you for Embassy Suites' overall excellence."
