“This resort is overlooking the Tennessee River. A lovely park, River Heritage Park, is under the hill with a nice walking trail and playground for children. A large pool is accessible with a hot tub. The resort also has a spa. We only stayed one night during cooler weather so we did not try the pool nor the spa. We did try the restaurant, Swamper’s Bar & Grill for both dinner and breakfast.(separate review) staff were friendly throughout the resort. “First of all let me say this place is very expensive. The hotel is very nice…don’t get me wrong. However, the breakfast all you can eat buffet was cold for the most part. Waitress was not very attentive and there were hardly any people in the restaurant. And the day we were leaving, I was looking for coffee to go for the road. No complimentary coffee. Really?
